By the time he was 21, TJ had fan clubs on four continents and in 10 languages. He was singing to 12,000 screaming girls in sold out arenas each night, and was on the verge of signing a major international record deal.

TJ formed Cartel in 1998 with Westlife star Brian McFadden. The group became one of the biggest unsigned music successes in the world, with a massive fan following and a ton of media attention before they even released a record.

The group were on the verge of signing a major international record deal after performing for 50,000 people on tour with Westlife in 2001. TJ left the group soon after, and Cartel disbanded later that year.

TJ was a professional hip-hop dancer and choreographer for over five years.

Specializing in urban, commercial and street, he's a qualified instructor, recognized by the Irish department of Education.

He trained at Dublin's legendary Digges Lane Performing Arts school, and has gold-winning dance troupes in Ireland and Canada. In 2000, he established a government program offering hip-hop workshops to disadvantaged kids in Dublin's inner city.

He has appeared on countless TV shows and live events, including the Schwarzcoph UK fashion show, the St. Patrick's International Festival and TRADE superclub.

z-model

TJ's modeling/acting experience began with a TV ad promoting the launch of a new season of 'ER' on Irish national television in 1998. He then began auditioning for movie parts, making TV and radio appearances and hosting live events in the city.

After a string of modeling stints, he made the move to Canada and signed with Xen Models in Calgary. TJ did fashion work at various events throught the city (one of which resulted in another TV ad for the Alberta market) before severing ties with the agency in 2003 to focus on his journalism career. TJ still does occasional modeling work, including work at the Calgary Cares event in 2003.

TJ is best known for his six-year run as a regular sports writer for the Calgary Sun newspaper. His columns have also appeared across the Sun chain, in markets like Toronto and Ottawa, as well as on canoe.ca.

TJ's writing career began with sports articles in Dublin's Evening Herald newspaper, followed by work for Much Music (Canada's music TV network) and a host of other freelance gigs.

TJ co-wrote the book 'Slam Wrestling: Shocking Stories from the Squared Circle'; released internationally in November 2009. His first solo book is slated for completion in 2010, with a tentative January 2011 release date.

TJ currently works as a sports writer for TSN.ca; providing controversial, edgy sports opinion articles for the website of Canada's biggest sports network.

He also pens regular sports video game content for Xbox Canada.
